Product description
Flake composite foam is made from PUR soft foam scraps that are bonded together in the form of flakes. The goal of the manufacturing process is to preserve the open-cell structure and elasticity, ensure the uniform distribution of functional additives within and on the surface of the cell structure, and integrate the solid partner materials into the foam matrix while maintaining functionality. Hanno®-V 18 flake composite foam combines the unique properties of PUR foams with precisely controllable additional benefits and a high density.
Product properties
- Favorable fire behavior
- Excellent sound absorption capacity
- High density
- Elasticity

Processing
Bonding only on dry, grease-free, clean substrates. Press the surface well. The material is easy to punch and cut. You can easily adjust the material and cut it to size with a sharp knife.Cleaning
- No significant soiling from the material is to be expected. In the case of self-adhesive parts, adhesive residues can be removed with a petrol-based cleaning agent if necessary. The safety instructions for the cleaning agent used must be observed.
Delivery form
- Blockware
- Sheet goods
- Cuts
- Punched parts (dimensions on request)
- Can be equipped with self-adhesive
Notes
The material tends to change dimensions during processing (punching, cutting, pressing, winding, installation, etc.). In general, the dimensional tolerances of DIN 7715-P3 can be adhered to. For special dimensional accuracy requirements, please contact our customer service department.
The inhomogeneous composition of composite foam in particular can lead to major fluctuations in properties.
